Beyond the Resume: My Story

I was born into a world of diverse cultures, shaped by a unique blend of Italian, Armenian, and Egyptian heritage. My story isn’t just about where I come from; it’s about the journey that has made me who I am today.

My father was born in Egypt, the son of an Egyptian father and an Armenian mother, while my mother was born in Jericho, Palestine, to an Italian father and an Armenian mother. Their backgrounds intertwined, creating a deep cultural richness that I inherited from both sides.

Before I came into the world, my brother was born in Egypt. As he grew older, he later became an Egyptian Canadian, adding another layer to our already multicultural family. The funny thing is, each of us was born in a different country, yet despite the geographical differences, we share an unbreakable bond.

Although my family had roots in different places, my journey began in Kuwait, where I was born. However, life had other plans. In 1992, due to the Gulf War, my family moved to Egypt, a place that would soon become home. It was a transition filled with change, but also one that introduced me to the vibrant history and culture of Egypt, something that would later become a true passion of mine.

Growing up in Cairo, I was immersed in Armenian traditions early on. I attended an Armenian school, church, and club, where I built strong connections with my heritage. But as I grew older, my world expanded, and I transitioned to an international school, which opened my eyes to new cultures, ideas, and perspectives.

It was in Egypt that I discovered a deep love for history. Fascinated by the country’s ancient civilization, I pursued studies in tourism and tour guiding. Walking through the ruins of temples, deciphering the stories written on the walls of tombs, and sharing the magic of Egypt’s past became more than just an education; it became a passion. I loved the way history connected people across time, just as my own life had been shaped by different cultures and generations before me.

Then, in October 2014, I moved to Denmark, stepping into yet another new world. Moving to a new country came with challenges, but it also strengthened my ability to adapt, to embrace change, and to keep growing. Just as I had once transitioned from Kuwait to Egypt, I now found myself building a new home in Denmark, carrying my heritage, my experiences, and my love for learning along with me.

In Denmark, my life took on a new meaning when I became a father to twin boys, the greatest blessings of my life. I adore them, and I affectionately call them "My monkeys." They fill my days with laughter, curiosity, and boundless energy, and being their father is the role I cherish the most.

Alongside fatherhood, I also pursued another passion of mine, technology. I have always been fascinated by how technology shapes the world, drives innovation, and connects people. My curiosity led me to study Business Economics and Information Technology, combining my love for problem-solving with my deep enthusiasm for the digital world. I am absolutely crazy about technology, always eager to learn, explore, and apply new advancements in innovative ways.

Looking back, my journey has been anything but ordinary. Each country, each culture, and each experience has shaped the person I am today, someone who embraces diversity, thrives in new environments, and values the stories that connect us all. I’ve come to realize that identity isn’t just about where you’re from; it’s about the experiences you embrace, the people you connect with, and the journey you create along the way.
